We accept donated materials in good, usable condition—if it's clean, functional, and something a maker or creative person could use, we probably want it.
We accept donations Thursdays & Fridays
Please, no donations on Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

How to Donate Your Stuff Like a Pro
The best way to know what we take? Come in and look around.
Never leave items outside the store when it is closed.
Be real with yourself before you load the car. Does it only work if you can find a rare, discontinued part? Is the bottom half of the box full of giant spiders from your attic? Did you check the fabric for yucky smells or stains?
Treat your donations like the gift that they are — dust them off, wash them, wrap up the cords. We love spiders, but we don't sell 'em.
For furniture or anything you're unsure of, snap a photo and email info@heartofcartm.org or text 971-389-8414 before loading it into your car.
We've been doing this for over 25 years and it's still not always an easy call. Sometimes we'll say no — and we'll always try to point you somewhere better.
