Heart of Cartm is delighted to invite artists of all kinds and ages to submit up to 4 pieces of 90% reused art exploring the theme, “Rising From The Trashes”. This is a non-juried show. 

The 2024 Trash Bash Art Show will run May 16 - May 20 at White Clover Grange in Nehalem, OR with a special Opening Reception Thursday, May 16th, 5:00-9:00pm. Artists and 1 guest may attend the reception for free. Festival passes are just $20, so if you plan to attend other events, please purchase a pass.

General Information for Artists:

1. Please read the general info then express your interest by clicking the button at the bottom of this page.

2. You may submit up to 4 works of art. All submissions must be made using 90% discarded or used materials. For example: new paint covering on an old cabinet door is only 50% reused. We would encourage you to explore the use of discarded materials as coverage. 

3. You may use new glues and fasteners. If your art is electrical, we encourage the use of new wiring and fixtures.

4. Wall art, assemblage, indoor and outdoor sculptures are all welcome. 

5. You may submit work that is not for sale, however we encourage you to also submit for sale items. This is a fundraiser for Heart of Cartm to support our zero waste work within community!

6. You will be offered 50% revenue of any work sold. You may choose to donate this.

7. We understand that reasonable and fair pricing of your art can be a difficult task. Collaboration can be helpful. We can help you with pricing, when you drop off your art. 

8. This is a non-juried show. All submissions, ready to hang or display and within the guidelines, will be accepted.  

9. You must submit your work, in person, at White Clover Grange during the drop off window. We cannot transport your items or “work them in” at any other time.

10. You must pick up your unsold work at White Clover Grange during the pick up window. We cannot accept “donations” of unsold work.  

11. All artists submitting work are encouraged to attend our Artist Reception Thursday, May 16th, 5:00-9:00 pm. Artists may bring a +1. This is a ticketed event for all others. Festival passes are just $20, so if you plan to attend other events, please purchase a button.
